Hungry Habibi runs a big, playful Arabic-fusion menu across Gulshan, Bahadurabad and PECHS: mandi and madbee next to fried chicken boxes, pides and shawarma, with online discounts on and off.
We respect a kitchen that keeps three branches fed. But when the craving is actual charcoal and steamed mandi rice, the numbers are worth two minutes of your time. Their site showed no discounts when we checked in October, so the table is list price against list price, including the row where they beat us.

Same craving, two kitchens
Pick Hungry Habibi when
Half your table wants crispy fried chicken and the other half wants Arabic. Their boxes, pides and shawarma cover ground we deliberately do not, with three branches they are close to a lot of doorsteps, and on a plain chicken mandi they are cheaper than us.
Pick Sufraq when
The craving is the real thing: mandi steamed over its own broth and meat that saw actual charcoal. Mutton mandi, kebabs and kunefe cost less at our sufra even before our 10% website discount, and the kitchen holds the line till 4 AM for the whole city.
We lose the chicken mandi rows and we have said so. The rest of the table is the quiet argument.

Is Sufraq cheaper than Hungry Habibi?
On most of the menu, yes, but not on chicken mandi. When we checked in October 2026 their Chicken Mandi was Rs. 2,150 half and Rs. 4,300 full, against our Classic Mandi at Rs. 2,399 and Rs. 4,399, so theirs is the cheaper chicken mandi. Elsewhere we are cheaper: our Mutton Mandi, which serves 2 to 3, is Rs. 6,499 against their Rs. 7,000 double, our Turkish Kebab is Rs. 999 against their Rs. 1,500 Chicken Turkish Kabab, and our Royal Kunefe is Rs. 1,199 against their Rs. 1,350 kunafa. Their site showed no discounts that day, and Sufraq website orders take a flat 10% off. Prices move, check both menus.
Does Hungry Habibi have chicken mandi?
Yes. By October 2026 their menu had a plain Chicken Mandi at Rs. 2,150 half and Rs. 4,300 full, next to their madbee and faham, and it is a little cheaper than ours. Sufraq's Classic Mandi is Rs. 2,399 half and Rs. 4,399 full, and we also make Peri Peri and BBQ versions if you want the twist.

Hungry Habibi lists branches in Gulshan, Bahadurabad and PECHS. Sufraq cooks in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and delivers across all of Karachi until 4 AM, every night, with the full menu available to the last hour.
What does Sufraq have that Hungry Habibi does not?
